STD Design Consultant has just completed the new design of 3 famous historical relics of Ben Thanh Market, Thien Mu Pagoda and One Pillar Pagoda of 3 cities of Saigon, Hue, and Hanoi
The contemporary Ben Thanh market designs are 12 meters high, the Thien Mu pagoda is 15 meters high and the One Pillar Pagoda is 9.5 meters high using 60cm-80cm wooden pallets linked together by a durable steel structure
With a high frame that allows visitors to walk, watch, and sit inside, the arrangement of wooden slots makes it easy to observe from inside and outside without any separation
With this project, the design team wants to combine art, architecture as well as preservation of historical monuments into public spaces. Based on heritage architecture, the design team’s concept was to turn them into true contemporary works of art
A special point is that when embarking on the project, the design team found that finding references for experimental projects of this type is almost non-existent in Vietnam, making the starting work difficult but full of challenges. challenging and attractive later
